Description
Ultima Syn Gear 75W-85 is a high performance fully synthetic API GL-5 gear oil for use in all mechanical transmission, synchronized or non-synchronized gearboxes, differentials and transfer boxes without LSD (limited slip differential) operating under shocks, moderate loads and high revolution speed and heavy loads and low revolution speed. Suitable for use in colder climates to improve gear shift quality where either SAE 75W-90 or SAE 80 API GL-5 is specified. The extreme pressure (EP) properties protect hypoid and gears from scuffing and wear. Good rust and oxidation inhibitors to maintain gear components life under a wider variety of operating conditions. Reduces gearbox drag contributing to fuel efficiency and smoother gear shifts.
Application
Recommended for mechanical transmission, synchronized or non-synchronized gearboxes, differentials, and transfer boxes without LSD (limited slip differential). For modern passenger cars, vans, CUVs, SUVs requiring a 75W-85 API GL-5 specifications.
