A VAG-csoport 0W-20 viszkozitási osztályú motorolajat igénylő benzinmotorjaihoz és könnyűüzemű dízelmotorjaihoz ajánlott. A gyártói szöveg az új 2.0 TFSI 140 kW és 3.0 TDI CR 160 kW VW/Audi motorokat nevezi meg. Más, ACEA C5 kenőanyagot előíró európai járművekben is alkalmazható. Dízel-részecskeszűrővel (DPF), benzin-részecskeszűrővel (GPF), háromutas katalizátorral (TWC) és egyéb kipufogógáz-utókezelő berendezéssel felszerelt járművekkel kompatibilis. A gyártó szerint valamennyi üzemanyagtípussal használható. Nem visszafelé kompatibilis a korábbi VW- és Porsche-specifikációkkal.
